I really hope they resolve that issue soon. It's a paramount insult to the memory of a past user to have their avatar showing up everywhere like a ghost. I'm still seeing it a few times a day, and I'm amazed nothing has been done about it yet. There is no way it's not an easy fix.

@witchhouse Any 'fix' requires a fixer and that is something now totally lacking from SV2 and, as far as I am aware, Chathouse. Note that the most recent item on the 'Recent News' widget is from 2020. If you see comments on the Discord channel, it seems that tickets are no longer getting any response.

That's unfortunate, because I think I may be at that age when I start writing "strongly worded letters", and I'm not sure I can help myself.

I hope that doesn't suggest we could all just end up disappearing from one another sometime. I haven't worked out even a tenth of my sexual issues, and I'm not sure I can do that with the Barbie Dreamhouse app on my phone. Ken just doesn't seem that fuckable to me

Right @forestporn, myself I'm offline since 3 month, and I rarely show me as online... But I know that Janitor and D6 was often online when they was active, so yes they maybe always come on the site with their profiles offline but my feeling is that they are no longer present and that it is a detail that accentuates this feeling... So I could be completely wrong, my comment was totally subjective .

For Celine, that was a just a fake profile which serve Thrixxx to communicate with the community but I remember some comments from dicked avatar under "her" post that make me understand why Thrixxx put "her" profile as offline.

This is all very worrying.

Do you have a portal to another earth where this isn't happening and we can happily play SV3 @thisisatemp?

We just need to keep reminding @Thrixxx that they PROMISED should 3dsv2 ever be shutdown they would issue long standing users a standalone patch - it is, after all, a standalone game!

It is sad that this game is not being updated, or even maintained. There really is nothing else like it out there!

i have lost all faith in this game and site, I'm sorry to say i think its all on its last legs. I hope they will allow us to play off line for those of us who have paid for our game , and for anyone who wishes to continue to use the games in anyway.

@Smokey @Dragonfyre Yes.. there is life. But remember on that bunker creation .. Which I totally support! ) I am not in the actual bunker. I live in the little closet size room just outside the door. I am at least in charge of the coffee pot. That was a demand I had.

I would also say Thrixxx server is the issue. Does streaming from other websites/ apps work ok? If so, it has to be the Thrixxx servers. I don't thinmk a ticket will work, provided you get a reaction at all ...

I've had a response from Support asking for a DEV file (which I may or may not have been able to create) but also suggesting something I could do by delaying replay - full reply here:

"We tested the video in different Internet Browsers, and it works here at the
moment.

It could be that the fetch of the CDN sometimes slows down the replay.
One question, does the problem still occure if you wait one minute and then
click “play” again?

By waiting a minute, before hitting play would allow for the video to buffer a bit more and get ahead of the play, I imagine.....be interesting if the DEV tool shot will come up with anything.

I do have buffering delays on some videos @dragonfyre, but there's no indication of it with this problem, as the soundtrack will keep playing continuously while the picture freezes.

I saw it happen a few times while watching my own videos, but I also saw it happen on my own copy of the video after making it before posting. Then it suddenly worked fine again. Made me think my recording was flawed for a short time, but played the videos again later and they worked fine. Sometimes a download in the backgroud that you can't see is responsible for the lag or skippiness on your own PC or device. I think that was what was happening to me. If it is happening here on the site, then it is likely a server issue at the time. Hopefully fixed now.

It has happened to me with your videos @Briar27. I've responded to the request form T3X noted in my post of 4 days ago, still awaiting a new reply to my ticket and the problem is still present.

It's not working for me - that video freezes at the first frame and only gives maybe 10 or 12 different views in its full length.

Please give it a try & let me know if it works for you before I reply to admin.

I've tried. I almost never get any freezes on the movies. However this extra command seems to make loading times longer for me, at the beginning, but also when 'fastforwarding'.

Hey Forest. Just watched your eg video and it worked for me. It buffered and paused a couple times at the beginning which i attribute to my internet speed. After a bit it played fine.

@Firefly2017, @wizgum, I guess I should also have asked you to try playing that video without the extra command to see if it was making any difference. If it plays OK for you in 'native' form then we have information. Confusing information but information none the less. Thanks for trying.

I dont even know what that means or how you make that work. lol what??? ?nocdn=1 I know how to click the video. thats it. but videos are working ok for me. Just some initial start up lag with the wheel spinning for a couple seconds but then they play fine.

If things work OK - lucky you @Briar27. If anything it seems to be getting worse for me.

@forestporn, if your internet connection is still real good, and you don't have issues watching you tube videos, then it must be something to do with the connection to this website where you live perhaps? maybe that intermediary company thrixxx uses that sends data back and forth is having issues in your area? I remember that was a problem for both of us a while back with uploads to the website getting lagged so bad they would time out before upload finished. Otherwise try clearing out your movie folder in the thrixxx game of old junk videos you no longer care to keep. Even though you are having issues with waching videos on the site, it may still be tied to your game and the memory it uses to store all those videos. Just a wild guess but I had issues with movies in my game folder not working till I cleaned some out and made space. Last thing I can think of is to try a different browser and see if that helps. Firefox, Chrome etc..Sometimes certain browsers start having issues after they do an update. I had to switch browsers a few years ago as a matter of fact, cause videos would not play at all for me on this website when i clicked them, until i changed browsers.

Thanks for your suggestions @Briar27. The problem does seem to be only on this site so i would agree it seems most likely some sort of net glitch. My movie folder only has 20 odd files, 10 GB total, so I wouldn't expect that to be behind the trouble.

@forestporn, Try a different browser then, just to see if it helps at all. I use Chrome and Firefox but Firefox was having major issues eventually and even with the old flash player stuff before that went bye bye. SO I switched and havent had issues for years now

@forestporn I tested both but I didn't see any difference... I got problem with the 1080p video but that cause of my old video card which can't run that resolution. How old is your computer ?

Thanks @JBRootProd. Computer is quite a few years old but I replaced the video card for something reasonable a couple of years ago.

@Briar27, @Firefly2017. I've been using Firefox for the site for years - D6 had said it seemed the best of the bench a long while back. Tried Chrome and Edge, both gave momentary halts for buffering (which Firefox had not) but the video did play with sound and picture synchronised so I have a working solution.

I'll report back on my ticket.
