The story so far – following the death of businessman Robertson Chase his estranged daughter Alaska has returned to GE City. Also returning after a prolonged absence is Alaska’s friend Tamsin Winterland who, rather than Alaska, has been made CEO of The Chase Foundation, a homelessness charity for the poor of GE City. Meanwhile Tiffany Chase, widow of Robertson Chase, has employed the Maxton Detective Agency to investigate the death of her husband. With Max himself having been spirited away to parts unknown it has been left to Carl Grant and new temp Mindy Minton to do the legwork. However, this may be in jeopardy doe to the recent bombing of The Pink Elephant. In GE Central the vampire Luna Borland is still patrolling the area around Middleton clinic where a meeting involving allies of The Templars has been taking place. While Luna tries to forge an alliance with another vampire named Joldi Brandr the clinic is being watched by the silent assassin Melodie Aubert.?
