While Diablo was in the process of possessing King Leoric's son Albrecht, Queen Asylla had become suspicious that Lazarus might be behind her husbands madness and her son's disappearance, so she went to his personal library and found his journal. What she didn't know was that Lazarus had been rewarded by Diablo with Demonic magic for serving him. A dark enchantment was placed upon the book to protect his dark secret in case the Queen began to suspect his involvement in her son's disappearance. The spell would charm anyone who did not recite the proper incantation before attempting to open the journal. Putting them in a type of trance while also summoning an Incubus or Succubus that will seduce the person using their demonic magic, depending on whether the intruder was a female or male. This creature would weaken the victim with sexual exhaustion. Making further attempts to interfere nearly impossible, as the Demon would continuously visit the victim thereafter, keeping them tired and drained, until the dark spell was either cancelled or was broken.?
