Shi Ming Is Chinese by birth, but shares a Japanese heritage as well. Born in 1248 in China of noble decent, she secretly allowed to train with weapons with her brothers. When the Monguls invaded China, she fell victim to a Mongul Vampire and in turn, became one herself. Her fighting prowess became very well known as she augmented her Vampire powers with her already formidable sword skills. She was a rare form of vampire, known as a Daylighter... which meant she could walk unharmed under the suns rays...allowing her to hide what she had become. When China and the Mongols invaded Japan in 1274, she was chose to be part of the invasion force. In the fierce battles that ensued in Kyushu, she was captured and taken before the local Daimyo. Something about her impressed Daimyo Tokugawa and he ordered her to be executed in single combat until she fell. One by one, she downed Samurai after Samurai until 32 were laid at her feet. The Daimyo offered her a title of 'honorary' Samurai, with all of its benefits if she declared fealty to him. She agreed and was honor bound to serve henceforth under the Daimyo. She served Daimyo Tokugawa for many years, never aging and was honored many times for her valor and deeds. She became his only honor guard, secreted from the other samurai. Her heritage became known to the Daimyo and he offered her to keep the role through future generations. She served until the Samurai were disbanded many years later in the 1800's. She became nomadic and found herself many years later in GE City. The Accords had just been signed allowing Vampires to live among the human population, bringing them out amongst the general population, and no longer in the shadows and hiding. She became an enforcer for The Accords, hunting down the Vampires that resisted The Accords and still looked at the human population as cattle. Shi Ming does as most of the Vampires that signed The Accords, she purchases blood from the Vendors, mostly animal in source, but still holds hope of finding a human to love, and partner with her in a ceremony known as The Joining. She is a cunning and highly trained warrior. Surprisingly, she loves to laugh and has quite a sexual appetite, as she continually looks for a partner of her own. She is bisexual in nature.
