You know..in a hilarious way, one of them represents Tropical Climate Christmas's like in Florida or California, the other represents a Snowy Christmas. It's literally two sides of the equation as far as Christmas goes and the climate you live in.
And... I just freaking got that X_X 23 years after the fact lol. Amazing stuff you look back on years later as you're older

Also a little known fact. George S. Irving who voiced Heat Miser all the way back then returned all the way in 2008 to reprise the song and do a second version of it
Yes he voice acted and performed the song way back in 1974 and then returned to re-perform it in 2008 at the age of 87 proving he's still got it

I love those 2 songs for what they are, and of course the memories they bring back. I use to love the little miser minions in the background doing back-up vocals...hehe
If you keep on this Rankin-Bass kick some of us are going to have to conduct an intervention. I highly recommend watching episodes of "Robot Chicken" that contain appearances by Composite Santa instead.
