Could it be possible that the display of images on the site now allows the increasingly widespread APNG and WEBP formats?
It would be practical and avoid conversions and image degradation, especially when using the gif format!

@Philopyge Hey there, yes I already made some test with apng a while ago, I thought it already works. I will have a look and see to get it implemented asap

it seems like the .apng work but you must click on the image to see the animation..

Sorry but for me each time i try to upload a webp file it fails ... i've got this kind of message on a white page :

if i come back to the gallery a converting message is displayed but afer a while it disappears without showing the resulting image... -
No i want simply to upload a webp file to one of my gallery ! I didn't make it !
