Suki means to love, or an elegant pursuit, and Nikita means quite simply, Victory.

The Love of Victory, or the fondness of victory, is something she knows all to well, just as she does the pain of loss.

For to become one whose very name means to win, there is forever a pursuit of those that wish to see you lose.

Born with the title Burakumin because of her mixed heritage to the Japanese, she was shunned at a young age, raised only by her mother in a small village on the outskirts of Bailu Village which was on the outskirts of China because she was unwelcome in her homeland.

The legend of Suki Nikita as to how she got her start is a story only Suki knows, and she has never stuck around long enough to tell it.

Some say she grew in a life of poverty and ridicule, training endlessly to make the world pay for counting her out and wanting to shove her success back in the world's face. Some say she rescued a blind swordsman who in return sensed her natural ability and taught her everything he knew up until he disappeared.

Some say she sacrificed her eyes to a Deity of War, thus making her near untouchable in combat but with an insatiable lust for it. Some say she was bored one day and just decided she wanted to be the best at everything and went out and somehow did it...

There is no evidence that any of this is true nor false. All that is known within her legend is that she was striven to be the very best...the very best at everything and one day, she accomplished that feat. Is the legend true or slightly exaggerated? Who knows. But enough people believe it to be true and when the 'legend' becomes 'fact'.. the 'legend' is printed.

At least with her list of accolades that stretches so long that no one has ever had the patience to list them, it does hold some weight.

As the days go on her legend continues to grow, and as the years go on the more it expands, but the more it expands the more people whom believe in the legend seek out her head, and the more people that seek out her head, the more people she stops, and the more people she stops, the greater her legend grows.

It was once said that she never once knew an emotion outside of pain, and every other emotion: happiness, lust, love, compassion, was trained into her as a means to an end to a mission rather than as a true emotional link.

It is said Suki Nikita doesn't have friends.. nor does she want them.

But the truth is...

NOTHING is known as far as what is true and what is not. Who is she? What is she? How can someone so young have had a legend that spans and transcends so many years... hundreds in some legends..thousands in others. Precisely who.. or what.. is Suki Nikita? No one truly knows.

All that is true is that the more her legend grows, the more people pursue her, and the larger her bounty gets.

Because of this, even if she wished to, she will never be able to settle down and live a normal life, that is the burden of the legend she carries with her wherever she goes, and with each passing day, the weight of it grows heavier and heavier.. till the day even she.. will no longer be able to carry it.

And once it does...there will be a line of people waiting to collect it. The question is.. will her seemingly eternal fate of loneliness be what defeats her..before the blade of another?.
