I watched the movie PREY this afternoon.
It's a PREDATOR Prequel that came out of the blue a couple of months ago.

It is a #hulu production i think, but Disney owns the Franchise, so it got released on Disney+ too this friday, which i sub to, so i was very happy!

Was it any good?

The Yautja in this movie is called "Feral" for a reason.
He's WILD!

The storyline is sort of a drama the first 1/3, but kicks off at the middle. I don't mind that at all. It's storytelling.

You ever watched the trailer & teasers?
The "Bear" part is not what it seems!

The main character is female, but no Mary Sue.

It's a lower budget movie, (thanks to THE PREDATOR which sucked & flopped at the Boxoffice) so they're testing the waters now with #prey , & i must say they succeeded to produce THE PREDATOR 3 we have been waiting for for over 30 years!

If you love Predator & Predator 2 & always wanted the lore expanded (comics excluded), watch this!


This movie does not hold back.
Rated-R for a reason.


Additional thought:
Yeah, the Yautja is looking different yet again, but way better than the last 2 movies (plus AVP & AVP2) & his mask is gorgeous!

But hey! Think like this: We humans do not look the same either.

This is MY Predator 3 i've been waiting for.
I didn't think that at first, but,hmm... I think you will to figure it out after a while.

*i just gave a way a spoiler, didn't i?*

Fans of the Predator movies might know what i hint at....


Best movie that i've seen in a long while!
I rank this slightly lesser than Predator 2.

Great movie if you enjoy creature features, like i do!
I watched it & enjoyed every second the Yautja was on screen!

He's a beast!
